Cal Dietz

Founder and author of TriPhasic Training

Cal Dietz is a sport scientist and strength coach with nearly 30 years of coaching experience, where he has supported and developed athletes across as many as 11 Division I sports. He currently serves as the strength and conditioning coach for University of Minnesota Men’s and Women’s Hockey. In addition to his collegiate work, Dietz recently completed six years with the U.S. National Olympic Team Women’s Ice Hockey. Throughout his career, he has trained 21 Olympic and World Champions , 52 Olympians from 11 countries, and his athletes have earned a total of 41 Olympic medals. His training systems have also supported teams that have captured 11 NCAA National Team Championships, 39 Conference Championships, 548 All- Americans reflecting a proven record of success in both individual and team performance environments.

Administered rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.

Represented the University of Minnesota in Various community-building events and clinics across the country as a lecturer.
